I'm brand new to the whole thing so y'all help me out. I recently purchased an air(train) horn and a 5 gallon air tank with a built in compressor. 2 friends and I did all the wiring at about 5 in the morning and got the everything wired up. One problem, the air compressor runs of a switch perfectly fine, no issues, on the other hand the air horn doesn't respond to the push of the button. When I push the button I can hear the 4-pin 30 amp relay clicking but it's like the power isn't actually traveling to the horn. I go off to college soon and I need a quick fix, any suggestions?

I never understood the appeal of putting a train horn on your vehicle but anyway...

Dont blow your temper, blow your horn!! Despite what these 2 say i approve. Check the wiring from relay to horn and wiring from relay to solenoid on the air tank.

Some people need the instant fear of trains to correct them from being a dangerous driver or pedestrian.

You do have all the air lines plumbed correct ??

The compressor while running is it really building air pressure is their a gauge any place in the system.

The compressor and tank are all one unit??

After checking if you have the needed pressure in the tank.

Test the solenoid see if it does indeed open .

If this is China built junk any part could have failed out of the box.

It was pretty cheap so I have actually looked into getting a hornblasters horn with my tank and compressor. Thank y'all for the help!
