No plans to go back to stock. I like it more now that it has a bit of soot build up. Better tone, to me. Needs a header though, soon.

Unfortunately, no. The last Cat-back system that we produced that fit a 2.7L (part #817519) was designed and dyno'd on a 3.4L. Only after manufacture and test fitting did we confirm that the 2.7L was a fitment option for this Cat-back system. We did not dyno the system on the 2.7L application.

    30” tires/ Steel front bumper/ 2 10” subs at 1000 watts/ Glasspack exhaust/ High flow intake
I would highly recommend replacing the muffler with a glasspack

    I did this...
Our trucks don't have a resonator, just the cat. converters, but when I posted the video on how it sounds, the only thing done to the exhaust was changing the muffler/tailpipe to the TRD setup.

Sorry for the thread revival, but I wanted to throw my experience in here.

I started out stock for about 3 months, then after some reading on TQ, I had a Magnaflow 11225 muffler welded in place of my stock one, and some new 2.25" piping from the muffler-back with a 2.5" tip.

I thoroughly enjoyed the sound, as it was more aggressive, had some burbles on decel, and was extremely cost-effective. Once I added my turbo, I knew I'd need a little less backpressure, so I started looking for alternatives with larger piping like 3", but couldn't find anything. I was getting my pennies up to have a custom 3" fabbed up from the downpipe, but still researching alternatives. This is how it looked

I recently (Black Friday) purchased the Magnaflow 15240 as it was on sale for $200 less than retail after coupons. I'd been eyeing up this system for a bit, since it was 2.5" from the cat to muffler, then 3" from the muffler back. Perfect for what I needed, especially if I plan on going catless down the road. I installed it yesterday, and I like it even better than just having the MF muffler in stock piping! The sound is deeper, and has a very Subaru-like growl to it. On the highway, there's no drone but when you get on it, you can definitely tell it's got an exhaust. Pretty sweet decel burbles/pops, and as another bonus I can hear my turbo through the exhaust more now lol. I'll record a clip when I get a chance, but for now here's what it looks like (on my truck) and sounds like (From MF's YouTube).
