Now that I've sold my 2006 tundra off and am driving a 2005 taco AC SR5 I am missing having an outside temp/compass in the rig, what options are there for adding this to my truck in some form without spending a bundle?

I de-pinned the headlight stalk connector and soldered the power wire to it and ran it up a-pliiar, ground goes to dome light mount. Sensor wires go down a-pillar, under hood, and out to the center support in front of the radiator

i have an aux fuse panel that turns on with ignition, so the direct power comes from that
