Stupid question but does the digital speed read-out still show up on the center gauge display after the swap? I just installed this in my wife's Highlander and navigation/compass with speed limit are not longer available... not a big deal. However, if I lost the digital speed readout on the gauge display, I would be super bummed. Can anyone who's gone aftermarket with maestro chime in on what you lose on the gauge display?

Yes, the digital speedometer still displays as it did before. I only lost the navigation/compass with speed limit.

Awesome! And the gauge display still shows the tire pressure for all 4 tires and the inclinometer is still intact? I’m fine losing navigation/compass but need these other two things.

How do you like that FTM-300 (I’m pretty sure that is what it is anyway)?

I have a Kenwood installed and the ONLY thing I lost is the navigation on the dashboard. I still have speed, range, tire pressure, media info, etc.

@Sweets how do you like the traffic display in that Kenwood's nav?

I'm looking at the Kenwood and Pioneer units - I like that the Pioneers use the HD radio sourced traffic info like the OEM headunit, but it seems they don't support split-screen / widget displays like the Kenwoods.

    Thanks.

I don't have navigation, outside of the Android Auto (which I love). I don't have a problem having offline maps saved for places where signal is sketchy. Additionally, the soon-to-be released update to Android Auto is said to support split screen (as, I guess, Apple Carplay supports).

It's coming a bit late because I haven't been here in a while, but it's an FTM-400 and I'm quite happy with it.
