    These are my camera wires:

    Yellow
    Red
    Red/Black
    Red

These were initially connected to a 4 pin connector designated for the 2016-2019’s. I am trying to figure out which wires go to which for the 8 pin connector for the 2020+. Colors on the camera harness do not correlate with the 8 pin pigtail.

    Thanks in advance.

    Sweet! Thank you.

So according the the wire diagram, wires from pin 2 and pin 6 will be going CV+ (yellow)?

Just making sure I’m seeing that correctly and the 6 isn’t really just pointing to the shield around the wire.

6 is actually pointing to the shielding of the video wire.
Or you could leave it unattached to 6. I'd test it before crimping.

Hooked everything up with the shielding and I get a black screen but if I keep the shield wire off I get this. Any ideas?

Looks like a terrible connection. Anyway to test the camera view away from the vehicle head unit?

OP, I have to ask. The connector shows the position of the wires as one looking INTO the connector, not from the wire side. Are they inserted in the correct positions/slots?

I would like to think that I did. I even labeled them to make it a little easier. It was hard getting them connected due to the length of wire I had to play with before I got to the splitter looking connection. I actually ended stripping it so far down I have to get a new harness after the circular 4 pin barrel connector.

I’ll check back on when I can get a new harness unless there’s a way otherwise.

I’m pretty stumped. I’m sure it worked just fine before I snipped off the old 4 pin connector for the 2016-2019s.

Know any companies that sell just this?

edit: ordered a pigtail off Amazon and giving it another shot. Hopefully it works out this time with some new wires.
