@#%!# AHHHH!!!

Just need to vent, since I'd look nuts screaming at work I'm doing it here. I've been working on getting a program up and functional here at work for the last two weeks. We were supposed to be using it for the last 3-4 years but my jackass boss procrastinated and now it's a mess. All of the info I have on it is horribly outdated and I can't get the company that makes it to answer any of my calls or emails. I'm pretty much flying blind and have come to a point where I'm stuck. Of course I can't get anyone in here to help me out because it will draw attention to how inept my boss is and how long he procrastinated on this. I started here almost a year ago and I fucking hate my job. In the rare occasion things go smoothly my boss feels the need to cause problems and put up road blocks.

 

Talk to your boss's boss (or next of higher ups).

These days, you can never do enough CYA (Cover your ass) at work. Sounds like your boss it setting you up for failure.

Do you work for a governmental entity ? Because I've spent the last 24 years working for lazy, incompetent, dishonest, slovenly supervisors. (Oh yeah, and those are their good qualities) Not every single one of them but most. I remain a employee of integrity in spite of this, knowing I can look at myself in the mirror each night and not be disgusted. Keep your head up and march on, God bless

 

We have gone above him multiple times; myself and everyone else in my department. He has been here almost 30 years and they don't want to do anything about it other than talk to him. After which nothing ever happens. I have done everything to cove my ass and then some.......just pissed of today.

 

You know what they say about bosses, they're like diapers, full of shit & all over your ass!
