Seems like most people on here have the Viair compressors, are they best?

I did a lot of checking around on this and I decided to forget about installing onboard air. Even the best compressors you can get take like 5 minutes per tire to air back up with a 33" tire. A CO2 tank on the other hand takes about 20 seconds. They're expensive as hell compared to a compressor, but they save a ton of time. I still keep the ol 12V compressor in the truck for backup.

I agree CO2 is by far the best way, for myself the reason I went with a onboard air tank is to set beads as well, it saved me twice already

    Build thread in sig...
Unless you want a powertank or similar "off road" CO2 setup, a pieced together CO2 system will be almost identical in price to a full Vair kit or constant duty ARB.

I paid $220 for a 20lb tank, 30ft hose, adjustable regulator and a 50 piece air tool kit.

Can air up my tires from 12psi to 30psi in about 40 seconds with the tank set at 100psi.
