    is there a cabin air filter in the 2004 model if not is there any mod to make one. every time i turn my fan on it blows a ton of dust into the air.

    I had a '99 Xtra Cab PreRunner SR5 V6
    Nope, no cabin air filter. Of all the discussion boards I've been on I've never heard of anyone modding one for the 1st gens.

    Im thinking about doing a mod. If i can get it to work ill let you guys know. Granted this will be a cheap mod since Im short on cash (aren't we all). thinking about putting a filter behind the main vents above the stereo

    Is there room before the AC evaporator? It would be best to put a washable filter before the evap, this would keep dust out and keep the air flowing. Something like this could be cut to size and disposed as needed.
