    I am married so we lived on base housing in Liberty Village. Homes were way better there than Mildenhall's base housing. Plus its only like a 5 minute drive between bases so it was not too bad.

    I was a Port Dawg in the 86 APS for 15 years. It was mostly a fun job, my favorite section was ATOC.

    Aircraft radio, cross trained into airborne command post while at Keesler then PCSed to Ellsworth.

    My wife was Reserve with the C-130 Hurricane Hunters.

    Guessing you are way younger than I -Keesler when?- Ellsworth when ? I started out as ECM then on to the recon stuff and flying.

    Just demonstrated my lack of computer skills. Sorry.
    I cross trained to the Airborne Command Post Maintenance {RMT) as a TSgt. I was stationed at Keesler before that as the shop chief for the radio maintenance shop,
    Maybe you've got a few years on me, but then maybe not. I retired in 84.. I jus turned 80.

    I got promoted to MSgt on my while in rout to Ellsworth. Ever hear of a 3 level MSgt? Neither did they.. They didn't quite know what to do with me so went immediately on flying status.
