DO HAVE TO GET NEW SENSORS WITH NEW WHEELS OR DO HAVE TO DRIVE AROUND WITH THE WARNING LIGHT ON.

THE AFTERMARKET WHEELS YOU BUY ARE LIKELY COMPATIBLE WITH THE STOCK TOYOTA TPMS SENSORS

    From what I have read:

sensors from Steel Toyota wheels will fit most aftermarket steel wheels.
sensors from aluminum Toyota wheels will fit most aftermarket aluminum wheels.

I just replaced my aluminum off-road rims with ATX and the sensors swapped with on problem.

    I would recommend a 7002 Redi-sensor. They are $45.99 each at Costco.

So sensors are interchangeable, more or less?
Does pressure monitoring system has separate fuse? (if I don't buy sensors)

Not all sensors are interchangeable. They operate at different frequencies. Our Tacomas are 315 mhz. No fuses that I know of

Someone told me that in oppressed states that heavy-handedly push for mandatory “safety” equipment like ABS that doesn’t work, that adds to the price of the truck almost two fold. So :) in those states, it’s mandatory by law to put sensor in tires if your truck is equipped with low air warning system.
Legally, you can’t just put regular air valve stem.

It's pretty sad that it has come to this! :(

Does sensors continuously transmit or does it so often? Apparently battery lasts 5 years, if it transmits continually it will run down quick… I would think…
