What aftermarket bumpers are FULLY compliant with the airbags?

I've heard that ARB is compliant, and I've heard that AP isn't. I'm just looking at which bumpers are and aren't compliant with airbags.

    Thanks!

Sarah stated awhile back that the AllPro bumper doesn't interfere with the SRS sensors.

I thought the airbag sensors were in the dash towards the bottom somewhere. It determined if the forces were great enough from there whether to pop the bags or not. I didn't know the bumper made a difference....well at least on the older taco's...don't remember on the newer ones. I could be wrong but that's what i remember hearing once. Where's Chris4x4????? lol

The stock bumpers & sensors were all designed together with crumple management in mind.

If you put a stronger/beefier bumper on the tacoma -might deflect certain forces to different parts of the truck and the sensors might not get the proper signals to deploy the airbag like it was designed to do.

Some bumpers are complaint (so they say) while others are not. Have they done sufficient testing? Who knows??

The sensors on my '09 are right behind the aluminum bar that bolts across the front of the frame. By the time the "crumple" gets to that point, it's time for airbags....
