Airbag Light

    My dash airbag light comes on to stay, i have searched the other threads, and my cruise control works, the passenger off/on works, but the red light on the dash is still on. From what i have read it may need a sensor calibration? Is that what you all think? if so, does it have to be a dealer ordeal? i have a mechanic next door to my office, and it would be nice to not have to go to a dealer if him or I can fix it. Will this light affect anything? Truck was wrecked over a year ago, frontal impact with no airbags deployed. (2007 trd offroad)
