Do you have any weight in the passenger seat? Mine is very sensitive. The light comes on with weight far lighter than a person.

yup thats exactly what it is if its on the dash, mine when on during the summer and i took it in to the dealership and it was going to cost me $350....

but if you take it in and your not under warrenty like me they will try to make you pay for it but dont let them seriously.

argue with them and tell them that its part of the safty equipment and they will tell you no its not covered only the seat belts are covered.

after that ask to speak with the manager and if he talls you no then ask for the district manager name and number (my guy was shaddy and clamed not to know) if he wont tell you or "claims not to remember" tell them that you will be giving the BBB and the attorney general office a call for not relpacing standard safty equipment and they will do it for free.

seriously do it especially if you dont have $350 to just give up.
