I've done so many mods to this truck it turned out to be a Dodge Ram 2500! WOW was that expensive!!
I don't know why this has happened, but for some unknown reason several weeks ago my airbag light came on and won't shutoff. Any ideas as to why and do any of you think it's o.k. to find some way to bypass it and get it turned off? I've never been in a wreak or hit any bumps hard enough that would cause it to light up.

The light means that the system is malfunctioning and won't deploy in the event of a crash.

You can take the truck to the dealer or an independent garage that has an electronic scan tool for airbag (SRS) systems. Once the scan tool communicates with the truck the mechanic should be able to tell you exactly what component has failed.

There are literally dozens of sensors and components within the airbag system and unfortunately they are all way to expensive to start replacing at random to get the light to go off.

Find the root of your problem.
