I never understood not moving forward on something like a 300 item that we commit to. You're not dying with your money and you can always pay your cc over 6 months. Idk just my .02 but I contracted up for a house the same weekend we got pm'd to send the cash.

I'd rather not chance screwing my credit score no matter, plus who knows if you have any unexpected payments coming up or have an emergency

Using a CC to defer your cost for mods is lame.

Using a CC in general is lame but I can tell you what's not lame. When your credit score is awesome because you use your cc and pay it off on time in large lump sums.

    this ^^

that aside, i dont know how long my unemployment situation is going to last. My primary concern is making sure living expenses are taken care of from now until i get a job and saving what little i have left for the long run.

I'd let that money make me more money somewhere else and improve my credit score using other investments/assets but this isn't a financial thread so I'll STFU :D

I am busting your balls a little bit just in fun of busting balls. We are all enthusiast. Some more hardcore than others. I get it man that situation is tough. I mean when this group buy started I had no idea I was going to buying a house and too boot found out my 9 year old Border Collie has cancer
So had to shell out $1000 almost same
Day. Live fast die hard right?

if the man lost his job there is no reason to give him a hard time for not spending money on toys. I went four months with no pay and I had a job(Army Problems)... But the last thing I would have done at that time was spend money on a snorkle. Side note, no need for a credit card, I haven't had one in almost nine years and still have a great credit score. Just pay your bills on time and the score will come.
