I'm thinking about planning a camping trip down to Cheaha state park in october. Its in the Talladega National forest. I found a good map of all the forest service roads in the link that is a sticky and plan on checking them out. Has anyone been wheelin' in that area that could give me some recommendations? If anyone is interested in a meet I will be wheelin' Oct. 3rd. My truck is still stock, so nothing too crazy.

I'm in the Huntsville area, just upgraded to 4x4, and I'd be very interested in a small Alabama meet. But I don't know anything about wheeling around here.

I'm gonna be out roaming the forest service roads for any good trails in Talladega National forest Friday afternoon and Sat. if anyone in the AL/GA area wants to come along. Its about an hour east of birmingham.

Hell yeah, I'm in for that, as long as I can wimp out and catch up with you later if you want to go somewhere crazy - I have a brand-new stock 4x4. But fire roads and light trails I'm down for.

Really whenever you think you'll be ready Saturday morning. I have to work on Friday, so I wouldn't bank on my being there then.

Do you happen to have CB?
