    True that sir. The only place I've found that I thought really resembled Alabama was Chapel Hill, NC. Other than that, no place is like Alabama IMO.

    Done that trick before! It does work well!

    Alabama is almost like it's own country. It has everything you can think of from beaches to mountain terrain, and mud with rocks. You just have to sometimes drive 3 or 4 hours or more to get to some of those things! lol.

    As for meeting up, I see it as follows:

    Birmingham and south, we can meet at the usual McDonalds on Walker Chapel Rd in Fultondale at around 7:30, and if we depart by 8 SHARP, we should be able to meet up by 9:00-9:15 at the Wavaho Gas station at the corner of Hwy 231 and Hwy 36.

    I will be leaving at around 5:30 and meet up with Dave when I get to Montevallo. We will be going through Calera at about 6:40, then head up to the McDonalds at Walker Chapel by 7:30.

    If anyone wants to meet up with us along the way, let us know here, and we can coordinate a meet point/time.

    Ha ha ha. This coming from someone who WON'T be owning a truck in the near future! I know how to work on vehicles. I may not be as "skilled" as others, but I will get the job done. I also wouldn't be afraid to try and fix something that I have never done before! On the truck issue. I will be getting a runner here before the end of the month.

    Lol. I did have a truck that ran! If you remember correctly, when I bought it, it had been sitting for 5 months! It wasn't my DD nor was it DD worthy! I was going to get it there until I decided to sell it! I will text you when I pick it up, how does that sound? Lol
