I'm having to move my antenna to my ditch light brackets because the camper shell has settled down to hit the bed mount. I love it, but just won't work for me anymore...I also had to cut it when I got my bed supports.

 

I am mounting mine on my ditch bracket as well. Down the road once I get a bed rack it will move to there.

 

Will this operate from the 400w a/c outlet in the bed of my Tacoma? Specs show 1.5 amp draw but I don't know how that relates to 400 watts.

 

Wonder how it compares to the viair from HF.

 

was told in the ARB compressor GB thread that Viair will crap out on you. multiple people have now said just spend the money and get an ARB or be prepared to buy over and over.

bleh...read again. I'm only getting ARB because it's discounted, mr. buys a 3rd gen but claims to not be rich lol.

The ARB compressor I'm getting free with my lockers is designed specifically for the lockers, it will run front and rear lockers. That's basically it, not suited for airing up tires.

They make larger compressors, see GB thread, and I will be getting the smaller single one like Jeff has for a portable setup.

Yes, some have done that. Since I will already have the locker one mounted though I see no point in mounting another, so I like the portable setup.

 

Having the E locker in the rear I won't be doing air lockers for a very very very lock time. I might as well mount mine. Do you know any links for this set up?
