well guys my toytec lift has been ordered! in just a few short weeks ill be sitting 3 inches higher!

 

Adjust the coil overs all the way down...or you will tear CV boots...<<<<voice of experience...

 

As a matter of fact, Bill, is the axle nut a 35mm or 36??? I can't find a 35mm socket ANYWHERE!!!

 

35mm but 36mm will work.. a nut that size it will be fine. just make sure the 36mm is 6 point.

 

We rent 35mm sockets at autozone. At least we have them at the store I work at.

 

Yeah, I've used so many different sizes.Many don't fit perfect, but as mentioned, always go 6-point. Most axle nuts will come out reasonably easy.

 

anyone have any experience on doing addaleafs in the huntsville area? ive never worked with them and some expertise when putting them in would be greatly appreciated

 

Not much of a challenge to be honest. AAL can be pretty straight forward and simplistic. Which kit did you get? Hopefully it came with decent instructions.

Yeah some c clamps and a socket set is all you need other than jack and stands. It's easy peasy. Just drop the axle, clamp the pack, take the center pin out, unclamp slowly, insert leaf, assembly is reverse.

 

mmk. doesnt sound tooooo hard. ill watch some vids and try to get the basics

I saw that group buy. Wish I has the extra cash. Just spent all my money on 4.88 gears, my Detroit trutrac LSD and installation. Hopefully be getting installed sometime this week or next.
