I understand that totally! They take a beating, I love them!!

Which do you think would be better, bracing or the 3/8"? I am not worried about the weight.

Nothing much, just a new muffler to get a few more decibels! And a reroute too.

That's about all I am looking for. I want to set mine up like @BigMike with the magnaflow and a little bigger pipes I think.

I hear adding bigger pipes does something to your horsepower, at least that's what I read in the exhaust thread. Some guy added 3" pipes and his truck didn't run right afterwards. I just want a slight little rumble, not obnoxious, just slightly more sound.

@BigMike added some MPGs with it I heard. He went to 2" is all.

I am still anxiously awaiting what he found on fixing the 3rd gen smoking problem!:playball:

I noticed mine smokes out of the exhaust pipe too when I first crank it. It had always done this since brand new. What size are the factory pipes?

Some sounded good at startup and normal driving, but buzzed real loud when they got on the gas. That's NOT what I want! lol

I saw something about River Rock yesterday, and was considering it! Looks like a fun time for a buggy for sure:mudding:

It should be cheap, just be prepared that the reroute may alter the sound to something you do or do not like.

My system is still a work in progress, but I’m happy so far.

Had there been a shop in a Huntsville, that could do what I wanted, I could have saved a bit of cash. Unfortunately, that was not possible. I’m just glad someone sent me a PM and hooked me up with the best possible outcome for my 1GR-FE.

Worst thing about the Alabama Thread in my opinion, most of it is conversation better suited for texting!
