You need one of these. Removes all chemicals and fluoride. Just set it up and pour the water in. Great taste and have been using for years. You can supposedly add food color to water, run it through it and it will remove it. Very popular with preppers.

Happy shit Friday:frusty: Cranked my T4R this morning to warm up while I finished saying bye to the wife and baby girl. Click my headlights on and BAM! There goes my driver side HID. Open the hood and the connector from the ballast to the bulb had cracked:angrygirl:

yuck. might as well use this to open up a discussion...I've seen multiple differing opinions on here and other places about warming your vehicle up. Some say it's bad, some say it's fine, some say it's recommended. what say you?

I'm hit or miss with it really. Majority of the time I'm a no warm up kinda guy.

    Twas the case this morning

My road was in some sort of wind tunnel this morning and it was ball knocking cold so I needed a twix minute.

The warm up process is one of the hardest things on your engine. I don't let mine warm up from idling, but I do take it easy until it gets up to temp.

I am weird and actually like the cold in the morning, I enjoy sitting in the vehicle with that chill as it kinda kicks my body into overdrive to warm up and gets me energized. Then as I'm driving to work and get warmed up it's more like I put some effort into warming up instead of feeling like I'm trying to go to sleep slowly warming up under a blanket lol.
