Justin (TacoFMS) is also in the Bessemer area. He may be right down the road from you.

I had to look up LineVille, never heard of it before. I'm about an hour and a half away, in Montevallo.

We have a few members in the Sylacauga area, and if they happen to login, they are only about 30 min from there.

Pfft, you're 30 min closer to lineville then I am.

In the next 2 days or so, if there is enough positive response to the idea I will just start a meet thread for that night. If not, its cool, I know Alabama is a pretty wide spread state and it might not be convenient for some. Just figured I would throw out the idea.

I am doing the same thing when I leave bama and stay in Tampa for 2 days before I make it home, though I know most of the Tampa members, just nice to get out and see some people.

We actually have a Mods/Meets thread for all of our meet ups.

On a side note, attendance would likely be better if you set it up West of you where we have multiple members.

If it were an off road meet like I had hoped for initially, I would gladly travel a bit for it, but as it is I am already driving 8 hours up there. Hopefully at least a few guys want to come meet up, but like I said before, if not it's totally cool. No hard feelings.

And I will post in there if enough interest is shown.

Understandable. Weather I could make it will depend on the time and date that you decide on.

Lineville is about 30 minutes from me and it is definitely a small town! great for hunting and fishing though. I have some family that live out there in the boonies of Lineville...aka "shin bone valley"

Anyone with the last name of Calhoun by chance? That's my buddies last name that I will be staying with. As for the time we will be there, we will mainly be hanging out, relaxing, and gonna go hiking one of the days.

Hey Tech31, tell your friend in Lineville that if he wants a REAL Alabama small town, come to Marion. Haha. Just having fun.... But yeah, Lineville meet would be too far for me I think. If Dave is 2 hours from there that would be almost 3 hours for me.

So that would be between 2-2.5 hours for me then. It will depend on what I am doing then. If plenty of people are going to go, I may go as well.
