Sippin' coffee and watching install videos. Enjoying the slower pace that comes with summer around here. How're the patients so far?

My dood! That's exactly the kind of info I was hoping to find today. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. Anybody have tips on doing this solo as a newbie? If I can be patient long enough for folks to plan a mod day again, I'd feel better knowing someone could tell me before I screw something up. I plan to absolutely be hands on if I'm gonna drive it. I like the idea of doing it myself and learning as I build the thing so I have a better idea how to troubleshoot when things go wrong. Just nervous to not crater the rig or worse have something fail while I'm on the interstate with the wife.

If you want to come over one day we can knock it out. I promise I won’t cut the back half of your truck off.

I never understood why docs take so long to get folks out. Seems like they'd want it to be in and out as fast as possible.

Man I would love to take you up on that! Let's make it happen whenever works for you. I know it'd instill more confidence in the job. Wifey supports me learning how to do this stuff and she loves that the truck is progressing, she just doesn't want me to ruin the DD. And when I showed her yours a few weeks ago, she said I better at least wait til it's paid off if I want to change the bed...or else.

It has a lot to do with ordering so much unnecessary shit to keep from getting sued. It's no longer about what's best for the pt, it's "cover your ass" medicine. If people didn't use the ER as a primary/urgent care......that would help too.

Haha heck yeah. I’ll hit you up when we get back. May not be this weekend since we are getting in late, but next weekend should be fine. What year did those shocks come off of and what extra weight did it have on the front/rear?

No worries! I appreciate you helping me out, so no rush. They came off a 2018 Sport. My understanding is the only weight he had on it was sliders and RCI aluminum skids. It’s the Eibach Stage 2 Pro Truck 2.0 and Headstrong 1.5” AAL.

Nice, shouldn’t have to mess with the preload much or at all then. I’ve got spring compressors and all those goodies if need be though.
