stick around, im curious to see about your gas mileage. My brother has a 2012 ecoboost platinum and he gets at best 16 mpg.

 

I got a buddy who has a 2012 fx4 with the 5.0 he gets 18 when he babies it but that ant no fun and he usally gets around 15

 

Planning on going with the all pro bumper. I love the way it looks. Trying to find someone locally to build me one first though but it'll be within the next three months for purchase though.

 

Yeah, me too. Buddy has an 09 XLT with the 5.0 or the 5.4, I don't remember, but he gets 19-ish mixed if he drives conservatively, which he usually does. I think he's hit at least 20 highway before.

Hey guys I was looking a the dealership website I worked with getting my new truck. They have my Tacoma listed for 17,990!!! I can't believe they are asking that much for it...

 

I'm really not surprised. First gens are great, great trucks, so I hope first gen guys don't take this as an insult like they usually do, but I find them to be wayyyy overpriced. The dealer will probably get that 18 grand for an 04 if it has 4wd and low miles.

 

How much did they give you for it?

First gen Tacoma's are seriously overpriced. When I bought my 07, in 07; I bought it because the first gen (an 02) I was looking at was only 1k cheaper then a brand new truck.

 

friggin tacomas in general are overpriced haha. after I wrecked my truck, I was trying to find a 4dr 4wd 2nd gen. Cheapest I could find was an 06 with 90k on the clock and the guy wouldn't budge from 24k. Then I looked at 1st gens and the average price on a 4dr 4wd was like 15k+
