Well no shit... I actually found a caged samurai on toyota axles with 35s and lockers, guy is asking $2900 obo... only problem is it's still carbed, so I'd have to convert it to propane.

Maybe I'll just buy this: http://newhaven.craigslist.org/cto/4493372708.html

You've got to be kidding me..

Did he steal his "dually fenders" from his neighbors boat trailer?

What has this world come to.. I'd just like to see the guy that drives it.

I don't want to start a debate or anything but could you leave it carbd and get an efi motor for it?

My first thought.. I found a 1.6 the other day for like $350.

I love Sammis! I want one so bad but I'd flip that bad boy within an hour of wheeling it!

Yeah, it's an option, lots of guys put in a tracker motor. This one has the 1.6 already. Getting the harness fixed to convert to efi is the hard part, propane is the same price but way easier

Wouldn't propane be more troublesome though? I have no idea about propane powered vehicles other than there is a propane tank that holds propane and that is the fuel. Lol

Nah it's really easy. You put the tank and a propane injector in place of the gas tank and carb, and there you go. Propane runs at a different afr than gasoline, but the kit takes care of the mix and since its a gas hill climbing problems are solved, in fact it'll run upside down. It mixes mechanically like a carb, that's why you can't easily convert an efi vehicle, but for a carbed one it's cake.
