I've always held the belief that the worst part about CA are all the Californians.

Welcome, and thanks for your service!

As I have many good reasons to leave. Our jobs are bring overrun by all the immigrants, half the people in Cali don't even speak English, our politicians and lawmakers have a few screwes loose to say the least, our gas prices are outrageous (because of he stupid lawmakers), taxes are insane, air/water quality is just disgusting, and nobody can carry guns ( unless you donate $50k and a complimentary reach around to your local sheriff) !!!!!!!!! I'm ashamed to live in the same state with Feinstein (D) and would get joy in seeing her perish a slow and painful death (along with Obama, but that's not CA specific) and the list goes on and on and on. Only good thing here is I can do the snowy mountains, the beautiful beach, the hot desert, the busy big city life, farm land, suburban areas, and everything else all within 30 minutes of each other. Oh and Vegas is only 3 hours away :)

Anyways, rant over. Alaska will be my home one of these days once I convince the GF

6hrs in the summer time maybe lol. Winter time driving with the roads being as bad as they have been this year, trying to drive up in 6 is a death wish. In fact there was a major fatal accident just last night about 15-20 miles up the road from the base we had to help the troopers with. 6 car pile up and a semi. ppl were driving to fast for road conditions and wernt spaced out enough to give each other enough reaction time and they paid for it. Im just advising that you take your time in the winter is all. Come summer time have at it haha especially if you have a nice big bumper. Who cares about moose or caribu, the truck will win haha. But im not playing chicken with a semi

I went from Fairbanks to Seward once in 7 hours one winter. Pretty much a wintertime land speed record for me. I'm all for being safe though. That was is my dumb years...
