Just went out of Seward yesterday. Slayed the halibut, didn't even try for Silvers. Lot's of charters down here are getting skunked on the silvers. They're just not there. Hope it's better in Valdez.

Just went fishing last night at Bings Landing on the Kenai River and we got skunked. The only fish that was caught was a pink. I hope fishing in Valdez is good.

you might be mistaken, eilson is in fairbanks so you might thinking of elmendorf.

Patrick, i was up in eilson doing some work on the upgrades for the sewer/steam lines in april/may,
as far as fishing goes i nailed the silvers when they started running a few weeks back, a friend of mine bought a property on the kenai and the fishing is right off his river front property. best fishing spot i have fished on the kenai. i am on vacation in newyork/jersey/philly/atlantic city at the moment and have a halibut charter lined up when i get back.

I did some fishing in Valdez last year for labor day weekend. Good fishing down there for silvers. Also went out on the Kenai this summer and caught a bunch of reds.
