Alaskan truck group

Whats up guys?! This alaskan truck group thread looks like its starting to run dry. Cant let that happen! Whos down for a meet?! Im itchin to check out some other trucks! Russel, help me out with this man.

 

There has been talk about going to Sutton on another thread, but nothing solid yet. I'm free on most weekends, lets set something up.

Hey whats up guys? Just wanted to jump over and introduce myself, name is Jeremy will be moving up to Anch for 4 years will be up there first part of Oct. Looks like these threads are dead to the world hopefully we can revive that and get together. Looking forward to meeting you all.

 

Word. My profession means generally hectic work during summer, so it can be tough to check this thing as of late.

 

Do you guys know the trail off the dimond exit of Minnesota? It's really short but a ton of fun. I live and work about two minutes away from it so I've been hitting it almost every lunch break. Pretty great that a 30 second drive can get you in the middle of the woods in AK. Gotta love this place. It should be filling up nicely with some mud currently. Let me know if you guys wanna come take a look sometime, I can pop over there most of the time.

 

I've bee tempted to take the truck through there multiple times. It's the one running between Minnesota and C street, right? I'd be down to meet up anytime if you guys want to take that trail for a spin. It'd be quick and easy meet up. When shall we?!

 

How extreme is it? haha. I may be down to check it out after work some day but I'm all stock other than tires.

 

From what I've seen driving by on that roadway, it doesn't look too extreme to me. But I could be wrong. Ive always wanted to, but haven't had the balls to. I'm always cautious if like a cop saw me. I don't need any tickets.

 

Is it marked as no tresspassing or private property?

 

Not from Alaska but I'll be flying in to anchorage this Sunday for a week of fishing, I'll have a half to full day to spend in anchorage, does anyone have any suggestions for the day? Sorry about the thread jack!

 

Not sure. I've never stopped to look. But if you guys want to meet up there this weekend, I'd be down. I'm going to the Fair Sunday though.

The city owns the land, so it's technichally not legal to be back there but I've never seen a cop out there. Plus he'd have no way to get to you haha. I'm out there pretty much daily and yeah it's do-able in my stock DCLB. Tires would be helpful. You'll definitely want to go with someone who knows the trail after its been raining. There's some truck swallowed that you wouldn't know unless you've seen them dry (I have, lots)
