They showed me the exact tool they used and it didn't touch the lip where the mark was so basically I had no proof they did it. Technically I don't know if it was them, but assuming.

Oh man, that sucks, those were just brand new too. At least they were able to straighten you out on the alignment. Maybe touch up with paint?

.4 camber should be livable I assume. I looked at the inner tread on my fronts too and its wearing as well so I don't think its all the camber. I did read that fronts wear faster because of their movement as opposed to the rear. Its only 1 week into the tires so looks to be all normal so far. but its interesting to see where the wear starts.

check tire pressure with a chalk test. You want the chalk to wear off evenly.

The chalk test would be more accurate. Not all tires are the same.

Went to the Toyota dealer today. They realigned the truck. Caster was out, I don’t have the before only the after.

The truck drives normal again, no pull and the steering wheel is dead center. Weird after just a week how much I’d gotten used to it being “off”. Drives much different and in a good way.

Head service tech at the dealer is a straight shooter, real good guy. Met with me before and after the alignment. I told them the history of two previous alignments before they checked it out. Did at no charge. That was a big surprise seeing as I didn’t buy the truck or tires there but they do my regular service. Very happy, I’ll buy my next vehicle there if the price is right and he’s still running the shop.

The printout is attached along with the new cam bolt positioning. @krootz EA154F11-6AF4-48B5-99C7-E0477A50C860.jpg59D96BB0-3D06-45E5-93F2-ED932764350E.jpgA5ACB0B7-3D47-4339-B281-2DDA66F1D8D8.jpg

Now THAT is a good alignment. This is a good example of what right looks like in my book. Sounds like you found a great shop to do business with if he did it at no cost with those numbers!
It’s funny how much better it drives when it’s dialed in. No more fighting the steering, no wandering on the highway, return the center is faster, etc. Mine would “dance” and get sketchy over potholes until I got it adjusted right.

I take it you’re stock otherwise you’d want that caster more positive.

All stock except a small bump up in tire size to 265/75/16.
