Getting my Billy 5100's installed tomorrow and was looking around for a place to get my alignment done. A couple places quoted me about $60. One place quoted me $129... WTF.... He said I should I should be leary of those $60 alignments as they do not adjust Camber/Castor? Isn't that what alignment is? Does it sound like he's trying to pull one over or does this make sense? Brakes plus and Pep Boys are the $60 places. Any advice/comments would be appreciated.

make sure you trust who you go to, i took my integra to merchants one time and they give me the keys and say my camber is off like .5 on the drivers side. Then they said they couldnt do anything about it and that my car had prolly been in an accident, i was the second owner my bro was the first

I paid 109 for a yr warranty on mine. They said I could come have it checked every 5-6k mileage. This will equal 3 alignment checks in that year based upon my yearly driving avg of 18k. Seems worth it to me. They did excellent first alignment after doing my lift. Wheel is straight & drives straight at all speeds. It was done at NTB.

The firestone near me does like $60 for a one time...or $150 for LIFETIME alignment. They say it's for every 6K miles, but I've done it more than that-Before major road trips, when I had the tires replaced, etc.

Talked to them the other day and the shop near me can handle lifted trucks- The guys seem pretty knowledgeable and they are pretty cool. Done good work with my three cars I've taken there (can't say they will all be the same tho).

    What Mods!
i have the lifetime allignment with firestone and when i installed my kings and uca's they had a hard time getting my allignment back to specs and it was a little but ok, since your just doing 5100's you will probably be better off.

Guess I need to go see Firestone. For about $150, the lifetime alignment sounds like a deal.
