Anyone on here have the All-Pro standard leaf pack on their truck?

Mine make a lot of pops and clunks and it is highly annoying. I tried using some dry lube spray on them which hasnt helped at all.

I'm wondering if I'm the only one and if so, I'm wondering if I should email All Pro and see if there is a fix.

What is the Temp where you live? When it's cold and wet the bushings seem to become sticky and bind under slight flexing.

Never had this issue. Been running Expo's for 4-5 year now. In Canada. Where it gets fuckass cold.

The only real fix is probably to pack anti-friction pads between the leaves. It's pretty standard on nicer leaf packs and I'm surprised they didn't do it here, but with 10 leaves, I can see how that would be hard to do.

For what it's worth I have a 2016 leaf pack (3-leaf) and then a 3-leaf AAL from Wheeler's. Some leaves have friction pads, some don't (stock ones did). Overall it doesn't make much noise, but honestly if it did I'd just live with it. The truck rattles in other ways and you're going to get things like this when you lift a vehicle. It shouldn't make excessive noise, and if it does, you should check to make sure nothing is loose at the bushings or shackles.

Dakars do it too. With the temps were in singles to 30s it did it. It’s 50 today and no noise... who know.

There are anti-friction pads between the leafs but it hasn't made a difference. The temp here in FL ranges from 60 to 95 on average.

I'll try loading them up with dry lube and see if it helps.

The leaf pack was bought brand new and have around 1000 miles on them. Never seen dirt yet either.

My buddy's were squeaking and popping, cleaned them off real good and sprayed some fluid film I had laying around on them. Think he reapplies about once a month or so and they're quiet. Not the all pro though, just add a leaf on the stock pack.

Completely forgot and you just reminded me. I did power wash the living fuck out of those things before I sprayed them.

My Dakars tend to make "pop/clunk" noises in the lower temps (coming to a stop/accelerating from a stop), but squeak in the higher temps (moving slowly over uneven surfaces/coming to a stop). Hitting some trails, ironically, seems to help alleviate the noises for a while. -- Sometimes there are noises, other times there isn't... the occurrence is pretty random.

Thanks for the idea. I'll check the torque on them but I know they are SUPER tight.

I've been trying to get a hold of all pro for two weeks now.

I was in email correspondence with one of the customer service representatives but haven't heard back after numerous retries.

I also tried calling multiple times without any answer.

Just trying to weigh my options since the leaf pack is very noisey and very annoying. Especially since the leaf pack is less than 3 months old and hasn't seen dirt yet.

I just want to clarify that in your first post you said you were having pops and clunks and people started suggesting solutions to squeaks (which could likely be a completely different issue). Although still really good info, squeaks would come from friction (usually metal to metal) but clunks would most likely come from sudden movement and contact. You said you only have 1000 miles on the pack-did you re-check torque on everything after install? I would highly recommend you check the torque specifically on the u-bolts. I don't know the exact spec but I used a breaker bar on mine and torqued the living shit out of them and it solved my rear clunking.
(edit: posted by @splitbolt above: 53 lbs, but mine are a lot higher than that)

It seems that the solution might be at your fingertips and people could have unintentionally steered you another direction.
Just to cover your bases, give the leaf pack a coat of fluid film making sure to spray the spring retainers and places where the u-bolts could make contact with the pack near the axle.

Are you using shocks compatible with the lift?
    I posted the OE instructions...
I just wanted to add aftermarket are usually up around 100ft/lbs; not 52ft/lbs like the OE.

Are your shocks compatible with the lift?
