I think I'm going to get the Dakars cause based on my driving (mainly street, occasional rock climbing, usually unloaded, occasional towing and hauling - only a rear plate bumper) they will work fine. I don't think going with the Expos would hurt or be any different but the Expos sit 1" too high and I don't want that raked look. With my extended Icons up front set about 3" and these, the truck should be pretty level?

Now pair these with 10" Icon 2.0 rears and superbumps I should have a good setup?

You can rake it or level it since you have Icons in front.

Sounds like you're going to have a kickass setup, man, congrats!

OK, just bought the Dakars at an awesome price - which helped make up my mind.

    Now I need shocks!

What year is your truck? The Dakars are great but the first time you load it up you'll be bummed by how much they sag, especially the first time you put your bike in the bed.

If you're a 1st gen truck, get the D6XL extra leaf for the Dakars. It won't hurt the ride and will help a ton with load capacity. Will add about 3/4" of lift is all. IMO the extra leaf is a must with the Dakars.

2006. Everyone else is saying they don't sag much loaded.

New, both sides - it was from a deal that went south with someone else.

Maybe there is less sag with 2nd Gens. Good luck

My Dakars compress about 3/4-1" under a heavy load of firewood but rebound to their original height unloaded

I'm very happy with their performance
