And Aspen was completely disoriented after that overhand right and had Dean not stepped in a literal sniper was about to get off several more shots. I had no issue with the stoppage.

Same here. And my god! Did you see her during weigh-in? Not the ceremonial weigh-in but the actual legit one?

I'm glad Faber survived when he got rocked (at least i thought he did). Good to see a good comeback but I have to see at least 1-2 more fights if his style improved or changed. He was always explosive and had that overhand but not sure if that same style will work against cringe king.

Well since Cejudo called Faber out after his win a few weeks ago. Then Faber called him out last night. They are now going at in on Twitter. That's all it takes these days.

Usually not, but there isn't much else going on at 135. It's a big fight name wise.

It would be, with a chance of a fairy tale ending + huge upset.

Granted, anything can happen at anytime in the fight game. Faber walking through Cejudo would be like getting struck by lightning though. Faber has never had power and that's what it's going to take to beat Cejudo. That guy will throw Faber around and just punish him until the ref calls it.

I don't know. Faber is a little bigger than Henry. Henry's not really interested in wrestling, no one has ever had much success wrestling Faber anyway. Overall Faber has been striking a lot longer and Joseph B, Urijahs own teammate beat Cejudo.

Urijah has also faced much stiffer competition. Henry gets a lot of credit for the mighty mouse split decision but his other opponents aren't too impressive. TJ was half his normal self in that fight. Vintage Aldo at 145 would still crush Cejudo.

True. I feel like Cejudo has had a very light schedule to be saying he's the p4p #1.

    Split decision win vs formiga
    TKO loss to mighty mouse
    Split loss to Joseph
Win vs reis is not that impressive
Win vs Sergio not that impressive
Split Dec win vs mighty mouse I thought he lost.
    Win vs depleted TJ
Win vs Marlon who is still fresh in the ufc.

That weigh in was scary. She is either going to have to work on her diet or go up. Aspen carries some extra fat that could be handled with diet alone. Every pound matters so she needs to get serious about eating like a rabbit or going up. These huge weight cuts should have been nixed years ago.

I recall them saying in a promo that she spends about 3-4 hours a day hiking in the mountains. If she is going to be an MMA champion she might need to rethink that, at least on a daily basis. She carries a lot of fat for that division and needs a nutritionist.

Agreed - Rose is a different animal altogether. But, I’m not so sure Rose wants to keep doing MMA. She has openly talked about it and it would be a shame to see her leave because she is a true elite level MMA fighter. She was lighting JA up until that head slam.

I’d have to agree. Again from the looks of it, faber’s style hasn’t changed. Can he get the job done with Cejudo? He has a chance but he’s going to need more than his explosiveness and right overhand . I do see a good scramble and grapple from both if it goes to the ground .

Honestly a lot of us can probably hike 3-4 hours in the mountains without any issues..lol I’ve done it before but that doesn’t mean I’m ready to go to war.

Agreed. That is what I meant. 3-4 hours of playing in the mountains is not getting her ready to be an mma champion. It’s also not helping her with her dietary work. She needs to get some of that baby fat off so those weight cuts aren’t so scary.
