Thanks, brother. I went back and watched the main event and Andrade just got smoked by someone with much better standup. Her going forward at all costs got her knocked out.

Thug was ripping JA apart but that slam....man, that slam....I think Rose takes the rematch and also think she is better suited to fight the new champ. She might come back but I think she is always dealing with a lot of personal distractions.

As bad as that slam was I'm sure it will take Rose time to recover, not to mention her already lengthy back problems.

Thanks, brother. It’s all good and I’ve had it for years, but the pain part really sucks. I have a rare blood cancer that I got from some chemical exposure during my gulf war era service. As long as I take that nasty little chemo pill every day I’m fine (numbers are good) but that bone pain sucks - not enough pain meds on the planet to make that go away.

It isn't much to offset the shit you have to deal with but thanks for your service. Some people still stick out there hand when they meet a vet. Consider this post an internet handshake.

No thanks necessary at all, but thank you brother. I really do appreciate it. I’m just thankful that I was allowed to serve. It was an honor and a privilege and I would still be there if I could. But, I’m not letting this crap beat me.

After I started chemo in 2011, I laid on the couch for years (working from home too) suffering and not really living. I was once a really fit guy but I ballooned up to over 300 pounds (some chemo actually causes weight gain) and said, screw it, I’ve got enough problems. All I started doing was just watching carbs, keep them below 100 a day. Then I very slowly started walking. Then running. Now I’m running 4-5 miles a day and I’m sitting at a “firm” and “fit” 175 pounds at 6’ and lost over 130 pounds. I have more energy than I’ve had in years BUT last night was the first time I’ve slept in 4 days from the pain and it was the most I’ve slept in a year or more. I’m hoping this flare up will settle down and I can grab a few hours of shut eye tonight too.

I’m tackling this crap head on and CBD oil is my next step. Sorry for hijacking the thread but it’s good to be part of such a great group of people.

It sounds like you’ve taken a bad situation and worked as hard as you can to make it your bitch, pure awesomeness. Hopefully the CBD will bring you some relief, keep kicking ass.

I hope the diamond gets it done. But I doubt it. Khabib is just a boring champion. 1 fight a year just doesn’t do it for me.

OK, not to be negative, but the last time I saw Dustin this confident before a fight was when he fought McGregor......

I do think DP is in a good spot because he has been training while Khabib has been globe trotting. If Khabib didn’t do the work in this camp or let that title belt get too heavy, DP might win it. Otherwise, Khabib really is a monster.
