Oh you mean @JoeTacoma02 asking me if I do mma! Like that was a relevant comment? My boy is capable of better than that. I won’t make excuses for him cuz that’s bullshit. It’s on him to do what he’s capable of. If he doesn’t there will be someone who will knock him down just like tonight. I’m his mom. I always love him but I can be disappointed in him when he doesn’t rise to his potential. I didn’t raise my babies to accept the easy excuses but to work hard and take ownership of their outcomes!

 

It is so refreshing to hear of a mom who doesn't coddle their kids.

No point at all. Wasn't meant in a negative tone. Wasn't sure if you did or not and if you did was curious if you gave him coaching tips too.

 

Oh.... I give him coaching tips. Have worked out in a gym and have been around this sport for many years. Everyone can get caught and I know that. But again, I know what my boy is capable of and where he seemed to be tonight.

 

He's still fairly young and fighting at a pretty high caliber. As long as he learns something from every loss that will go a long way to making him a better fighter. I get where you are coming from though. Loosing sucks.

 

Definitely a split decision, but stoked to see Frankie Edgar get a win.
