I can't believe he's retiring...didn't see that coming, but I don't blame him, not sure he has anything left to prove.

What's up with the ref ? Gaethje was clearly tapping on Khabibs head before he went out.

Khabib is that good and it will be a shame knowing I won't see him fight anymore. Respect.

Watch the replay. Khabib looks at the ref twice. He knew Justin was going out.

The first tap wasn't as obvious and the ref was on the wrong side to see. On the second tap, I think the ref may have thought Gaethje was trying defend off the choke or something. Gaethje went out during the 3rd tap. Overall, it was a little late of a stoppage, but nothing to be concerned about from a health standpoint. He just went to sleep for a second. Much different from a late stoppage while absorbing strikes.

    Great fights tonight.

I’m not a big Andersen Silva fan because of his showboating but the show of respect with Uriah Hall after the fight was awesome. That made me a fan.

I’m going to have to watch the fights again tomorrow just so I can enjoy it all over.

Replay is on ESPN+. I missed a lot of the prelims so I’m watching it now.

Uriah Hall is a frustrating fighter to watch. He has so much potential but is too gun shy. He gets in his head too much. His fight with Silva was slow and boring, even the TKO felt lackluster. It almost seemed like Herb was getting bored himself and just decided to call it a night.

Couldn't agree more. Hall does a lot of talking about how good he is, and he is good...but you said it, he seems like he's in his head too much.

Until he really lets it go and gets out of his own way, he'll always be a "contender".

Anybody going to watch Tyson fight ?
I'm not sure I want to pay $50 for what might be a very quick fight.

Nah, I love Tyson and maybe back when he was in his prime but not now.

Not a huge boxing fan anyway but I could never see paying that for a Tyson fight. Most I ever dropped was $10 to get into a club that was showing the Trinidad/De La Hoya match in the late 90s.

Totally agree. Plus, these rules are crazy.
