    I believe this is a strong theory. I think McGregor was never coming back, and they may have figured this would be a good way to continue the hype for both him and the organization, making it seem that the UFC would never allow him to fight again, blah blah blah, and McGregor rides off into the sunset as a “bad ass” and focuses on new business ventures. But this shit escalated quickly.
    I bet Vince McMahon is proud.
