Agreed, Stipe deserves a shot, shitty to see Cain out with another injury. Some guys have all the talent but their bodies just don't hold up to the abuse of training.

What a major downgrade

 

DANG!!!!!!!!!! Hadn't seen pics of his chick yet... WOW. yeah, I'd say it's a bit of a downgrade alright.

 

Sad to see the heavyweight tittle fight fall apart. Werdum supposedly hurt, pulled out too.

 

I guess it depends on what you consider a "downgrade"? I would like to see a comparison of his ex without makeup on compared to Rousey without makeup, or a pic of them both "dolled" up. His ex has a Peyton Manning forehead. From a financial standpoint, it's a no-brainer why he's with Rousey (if that's what Browne's intentions were.

Didn't watch the fights, was out to dinner with the inlaws, wife & kid to celebrate my father in law finally retiring. Was following the commentary on twitter and that's what they said as well. And then, just as I was getting home, Darth Bader got his socks knocked off so didn't even make it in time to watch that. Oh well. Figured that would happen anyway. From my short time really following MMA I've come to realize that Rumble IS A BAD MAN. His fight vs DC was a fluke in my opinion. I think he "over excited" himself, so he gassed out quick and got beat. Plain and simple as that in my opinion. But he'll get another crack at that belt, regardless of whomever has it.

 

I couldn't figure that fight between Rumble and DC either. Especially after watching Johnson destroy Gustafsson just before.

 

Rumble is badass! Fights raw! But cant help to picture this in my head everytime he fights......RAW RAGE

 

DC has a style that matches up well with Rumble, as is the case with many good wrestlers who transition to MMA. They are able to control the pace of the fight as well as dictate where the fight goes. I was kind of scratching my head as to why Bader shot in so early, I guess he was fearful of Rumble's power but it's not like Bader doesn't pack power in his strikes either. I was hoping Bader would test Rumble's cardio.

 

Looks like Benson Henderson is going over to Bellator.

I think we're still about 3 hours out from weigh-ins.
