There’s no doubt about it. Kevin Lee can fight. I don’t care for his braggadocio style but the dude can get down. We’ll see what happens. I’d pay to watch him fight khabib.

Anyone watch that Fedor/Mir fight last night? It was cool to see Fedor get the win, the next fight vs Sonnen should be ok too.

I’d like to see Fedor win this tournament, then retire. He’s not near the fighter he was, and he’s 42. But man in his prime, he was unstoppable, GOAT in mma heavyweight division.

Yeah that was a good fight. Two real legends of the sport got together to throw hands.
    Gotta love both guys.

I haven’t watched it yet. I want to like the guy but I’ll give him a couple more fights to see how he fights . Also for his first opponent, I read he lost to submissions from previous fights?

He runs his mouth way too much lol. Connor mcgregor connection I guess. The guy he beat was 2-4, let’s see him beat some known commodities first. He was calling out Ben Askren after the win, Saying Askren would be an easy submission for him. I’d like to see that. He does that, and he can run his mouth all he wants.

There’s no denying the dudes got ground game. His stand up was horrendous and he beat a guy with a losing record. To call out someone like askren is extreme. He needs to fight someone with a better record before calling out someone like askren but I wouldn’t mind watching him lose. Haha

Askrens retired anyways, but he may get back into it. He wanted to fight GSP, but he don’t get along with Dana white, and his style isn’t exactly exciting, not really a fit for UFC. I think GSP would destroy him. Askrens impressive to watch though, if you’re a wrestling fan. I remember watching him win college national championships when he was wrestling at Mizzou. He kind of turned into a bit of a D-bag though.

He runs a wrestling school/wrestling clinics in St. Louis for kids. My buddy took his kids up to it once, and said he was actually a pretty cool dude. Wrestled with his boy and gave him pointers.

I think your right. That’ll be a good one for sure. I don’t think yair has fought sense he met cowboy. I was thinking Sean O’malley and Zabit would be a killer match up. Both are super unpredictable and lanky.

@LukeCC I think Yair has been injured... I wouldn't want Zabit my first fight back though. Haha.
O'Malley is going to be sick... He might need at least one more before Zabit though and I think his foot is still recovering. 145 and 155 are crazy right now.

Yeah feather and light weight divisions are stacked right now. Lots of good match ups to be had.

Can they still make money off him? I'd say they'll have the fight in Vegas and sell out.

I’m thinking about how much more money can the franchise make off him. Who else has that kind of charisma they can sell. Maybe if they offer him a piece of the UFC.

Why would Conor be done fighting? Khabib would go to sleep quick with his chin straight up. Tony won't be back in over a year. Lee gets rocked every fight and his stand up is terrible. Conor already easily beat Max with a torn knee if he chooses 145 again. I'd say Conor is about to claim 2 belts again.

I dunno about that... He's looking in great shape right now and in sbg constantly. I believe the bus incident was a calculated maneuver for the biggest fight he could get right now. Which is further supported by the ufc using the footage to promote Khabibs last fight. Hell 2 of the top four (Conor is still top 5) at 155 Conor has already koed with ease. Top 5 @ 145 besides Ortega is the exact same since he left. I think Conor vs Khabib will happen before this year's over.
