That main event was insane!! Possible FOTY!! Tough to watch since im a big fan of both fighters

 

Bummer for RDA. Came out to a great song too. Congrats to Convington.

And damn that was a great main event. Glad I tuned in.

 

I don't think my hear rate has ever spiked to high during a fight. Fucking insane, easily FOTY. I don't think even Stipe/DC would top it.

Too bad this will never be a legitimate sport until the judging and scoring is overhauled.

 

Dana White said again Saturday night in post fight scrum. Khabib vs McGregor is next for Khabib.

 

Overeems ability to take hard hits is done. Stipe knocked him out the exact same way and Francis knocked his head clear off..... Same with Rashad.

 

He's done. Too much of a litte bitch to get back in the cage. And I think he fancies himself a boxer now, which he's not.

 

Huge fan of the reem, but throughout his whole career from LHW to HW, he's always been chinny. I'm surprised he's not slurring his speech like chuck liddell at this point. I think Overeem won't get that belt, he probably has 1-2 fights before he retires. Rashad is over due for retirement.

I was already up, decided to tough it out.

The pacing of the card was phenomenal. Tons of finishes and sick performances. Yadong is a fucking force.

 

Yeah I agree. The vets are on their way out sooner or later.

What are you thinking of the co and main?

I got Ortega and Miocic.

I’d like to say Ortega via sub but that’s the easy prediction. After seeing him and Frankie who knows. Max is a cardio savage so it could be a 5 round war. But I think Ortega gets it done one way or the other.

The main event is certainly going to be an interesting bout. I like both fighters so there’s no favoritism. But I think that stipe is going to make it happen. If it goes the distance DC has a good chance. He’s good a scoring points with his wrestling but I feel like stipes wrestling background is commonly overlooked. If his take down defense is on point he may control the majority of the rounds. But his best bet would be to go in there and put DC away.

Those are my thoughts as of now.

Ortega by tko. He's bigger and longer than max.....and I got DC by Dec.

I also have the black beast by tko of Francis.

Can't say I'm surprised. Dude seemed like he was already in the final stretch of a cut (on death's door) a couple days ago... felt like something was off

 

Super bummed I'm missing the fight tomorrow. Gonna try to dip out early to catch the last few fights. Hope Max makes a healthy recovery and lets go DC! Fan of Miocic too but I'm rooting for DC with this one.
