I understand the ufc needs to make money and the “super fights” bring in PPV buys but at what point do you cross a line into WWE territory? That lesnar call out was definitely planned if not scripted. The dude was waiting next to Dana cage side with his pants tucked into his boots for fuck sake. I know DC is lookin to rake in the cash before he retires but it doesn’t make it any less disappointing. If he plans to defend both titles it should of been Alexander Gustafsson at LHW and Curtis Blaydes at HW or run it back with Stipe. To make that lesnar fight in that wwe fashion shits on all the other fighters who are putting everything they have into the game to chase their dreams. The ufc is in a sad state of affairs.

 

I'd say to that... The other ufc fighters need to make themselves a draw if they don't like it. The UFC has tried to push many guys and it really doesn't work. You can only push Mighty Mouse so hard on every fox card and he ruins it with every interview. Plus the ufc is basically 4 billion in debt. If those investors don't feel the return they need they could sell UFC to Bellator/Viacom in a split second and wash their hands of it. Not saying I like the Lesner leapfrog but the ppv numbers have been way down and most of the other fighters have no charisma what so ever.


On another note.... I dont want to see shogun fight again after tonight unless it's in Bellator.

 

I’ve decided that UFC Calgary this weekend is better than a lot of the more recent paper views they’ve been putting out. This card is staaaaacked.

 

I can’t fuckin wait. I’ve got the prelims set to be recorded. Still at the tattoo shop. My girlfriends getting her forearm done then we haulin ass home to watch.

 

This Hernandez can fight. Love the agressive forward pressure. But his fake glove touch on his debut really rubbed me the wrong way. I hope mercier can do enough to get the W.
