I am looking to get a new Tacoma, but am hoping to find a 4 cylinder 4WD MT SR Access cab with the rear seats and seat belts. I had one taco previously, a 1999 SST. It was such an awesome truck, owned it for 12 years, and have been driving an Isuzu I-280 the past four years. Can't wait to get back to the Toyota!

I moved to Canton, Georgia from Palm Beach Gardens, FL four years ago. It is a great place to live.

Thanks. I'm going to go test drive one of the Automatic I4 trucks just to make sure it is okay. I'm sure it will be way better than the truck I currently drive as far as handling and accelleration. I have to use first gear sometimes in my neighborhood because my current truck has such a weak engine. I can get a double cab I4 for about the same price, so if I don't feel like the Access cab will work for toting around 3 or 4 people I will just forego the 4 wheel drive and go for the double cab 2 wheel drive model.

Welcome! The auto 4cyl will feel more sluggish than the manual will IMO, just something to keep in mind if you test drive the auto since you're looking for the MT.

What kind of truck do you currently have? Even with the MT, the 4 banger isn't very powerful...I wouldn't expect it to be much better than what you're currently used to. It's a bulletproof little motor though
