So I've blown my Alternator somehow and turns out they're like $500 dollars and dealer issue only. So another option is going to a wrecker. I've found a 100Amp alternator but the one in my truck is 90Amps. Is there any danger to my truck if I were to install the 100Amp alternator or will it fit?

    Thanks.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Can have the old one repaired? We have a local business that does that kind of thing. And they are not dealer issue. You can find them online.

The 100a won't blow anything. You'll want to grab the alternator fuse out of the donor truck though.

none except for crappy hub caps and floor mats.
Not sure why you thinks it a dealer-only option. All I did was type in alternator, 06 tacoma in Google and got tons of alts for it, some for under $200. Go for a re manufactured unit.
