    hey I just bought an 03 tacoma double cab and am looking for an aluminum rack for the truck anybody have any info for me would be great!

    Not sure if you mean for the cab or box, but I am going to build one for the box. I have a tonneau cover, and the rack system will go over the top, supported on each side with bent brackets. My idea is to be able to use it for (4) bikes, or one of those storage racks that you always see on jeep roofs. I did a lot of research...without finding much of anything...so going to build it. I custom built this set-up for my F350, and it worked slick.

    I guess I should have clarified, it is a lumber rack I'm looking for but your Idea sounds cool send me a picture when your done.

    TRD mats and seat covers, smoked tail lights, smoked turn signal corners, Revtek lift, Access LE tonnaeu, HIDs, grillcraft mesh grill, TRD CAI, custom bike racks, Alpine system.
    Nice work man! I'm looking to build something similar for the bed of my truck as well, mount some ski and bike racks. Do you have any pictures of how the rack mounts to the bed under the tonneau, or of the rack system with the tonneau rolled up?
