Haha well at least I am getting some entertainment from it now!

Interesting to see all the reactions.

I don't think I bashed anyone, and definitely didn't bash the truck. My 4Runner went 330k mi before I retired it so I consider myself a Toyota die-hard, having owned the same trail rig for 20 YEARS! I'm sorry it didn't have a Satoshi grill but it did have fr/rr ARB's, 5.29 gears and a solid front axle conversion. I lean more toward technical stuff myself. My last LS1 was a 371ci square stroker and ran very low 11's.

I'm definitely not a "troll"... funny to be called that by people who've been on this forum for <1yr. I've been on many forums for over 10yrs. People with 5000+ posts per year average are calling ME a troll? We have varying definintions.

In any case, I'm not knocking anyone's knowledge and will ask questions when I have them. I promise to try searching first so my thread doesn't get taken over by everyone calling me a newbie and taking revenge over when they were called a newbie. I never said there's anything wrong with a "fun" forum so don't get your carbon fiber dash's all scuffed for nothing!

I'm an a$$hole, but who knows I may be your kind of a$$hole. You may learn to like me!

    Cheers

At 44 years of age, (i think) i chose the TRD Off Road over the Sport with the phony (non functional) scoop, if that has any bearing on the discussion. Something about a functional locker...

Where i come from, older guys buy a Corvette if suffering from a mid-life crisis, not a truck with a phony hood scoop.

Constructive criticism is always good. However constructive criticism isn't intentionally saying something like "you're all ricers" with the sole intent of getting a reaction out of people. Which by the way, fits right into the definition of a troll.

Granted not to many engine mods, I prefer to dick with the suspension.

We don't do the newb name calling thing here that I know of....:) We don't know who you are though nor how many posts you have anyplace else, and it doesn't matter anyway because those places are not TW. ;)
Welcome to TW. We have our share of assholes here--so if you are the good kind of asshole, you'll fit right in--especially since you are willing to post a response to all of this. :D

2000 Camaro SS. Built it, used it, loved it, but have moved on and will be ini the market for the next muscle build soon.

Locker was a mandatory requirement in my purchase as well and much preferred over the limited slip Sport. See, we're making headway. Steve is just like you!

You mis-quoted me. If you use quotations, the statement typically has to be verbatim, fyi.
I said "Lots of ricers in these parts!!!" and I stand by it. Doesn't mean everyone.

Thank you for your troll definition fellow Tacomaworld newbie. I'm doing a study on this now.

Nothing man! I never said it's wrong, just asked if that is the primary informational swap here. I typically look for a good balance of appearance and performance mods. Even The Fast and the Furious had stage 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 NOS buttons on the steering wheel!

    :D

I'm starting to really like everyone here! I have a smile on my face at my desk at work. Y'all are growing on me.
