I wanted my lights on any time the ignition switch is on, and not be parking light, or DRL dependant. There's many ways to skin a cat.

Does anyone know where the DRL fuse is located? And what number fuse if is? I already tried looking at the owners manual but can’t seem to find it

I remember I didn’t tap into the Drl fuse I actually tapped into some random fuse and it turns on with the truck and turns off when I stop the engine. I’ll look tomorrow to see if I can find exactly which fuse I used.

guys, i have a question. if you have the raptor lights on the low beams plug and play, can you splice the DRL cable so the amber lights are on when the DRL are on as well? or it wouldn't work?

Has anyone wired them to the fog lights? I wouldn't want them on all the time with my DRLs and would only like to turn them on with my fog light switch whenever needed.

If anyone has please explain how and if you had to splice cables or is their a fuse? Or if theirs already a thread that you know of please post link Thanks!

Could you tap into the factory wiring? Sure. Should you? I wouldn't, why take any chances with a short or bad connection causing issues down the road? I see lots of guys using those cheap splice connections that you put both wires in and it gouges the factory wiring, that's how they used to do trailer lights on farm trucks in the eighties. Do it right with a fused connection and consider a switch to control the lights so you can have them on with or without any other lights. Learn to solder and shrink wrap your connections ( a child could it, so could you). Today's vehicles electrical systems are sensitive and complicated, why take a chance screwing with it????

I'm sorry, but I don't see any real purpose for these lights on a Taco other than trying to look like a Ford. JMO
