So pretty much like everyone else, you get talked into starting a build thread so here it goes...my first Tacoma was a 2015 AC M/T 4x4 4-banger in magnetic gray right off the showroom floor. 3 years and 39K miles later, I totaled the truck. A year later just before I graduated, I ended up with the following: 2013 AC M/T V6 TRD Off Road silver streak metallic with 131K on the clock. A work in progress, but here's how she currently sits.

Worn out seats meant new seats or seat covers. I decided to go the seat cover route for now.

First suspension upgrades for the truck besides the Fox 2.0's carried over from the other truck. Paying the extra $$ for the DSC adjusters was well worth it since my truck is my daily.

Needed some more clearance so custom bumper time. I cut the an OEM donor bumper because I am not a fan of the prerunner bumpers that go up to the headlight. Currently working on a new design, but this is the current

Prep started for the LT. I definitely wanted to retain the snorkel and wasn't quite sure if it was going to be possible with glass since I hadn't seen anyone attempt it with the safari one from arb. Once I started cutting of course there wasn't going back. Overall I am satisfied how it turned out. Also, fitting glass is a frustrating process which I expected from conducting research

Well since the fiberglass is obviously a different color than the truck, I had to decide whether to paint match them or consider wrapping the truck. Silver has never been my favorite. To test the waters on wrapping the truck myself, I wrapped the roof first in satin black. After doing that, I figured what the hell and decided to wrap the entire truck. I really wanted a color similar to Calvary blue, but couldn't find a color to match after receiving countless samples. I ended up with Rock gray by Avery.

I had to figure out what I wanted to do with the front valence piece since it was too short and didn't line up with the flares. I had tried working with plastic in the past when I tried modifying the OEM bumper and it didn't work out too well. I was set on keeping the valence especially with my new pre-runner bumper design so I gave it another shot. I had another spare scrap bumper so I cut out a few sections to extend my original.

Haha ain't no magnetic gray anymore. I'm trying to figure out what to do with the rear fenders. I need to cut more to clear the tires under full articulation. I thought about buying some smooth Tundra flares and seeing if those would fit.
