Amp Research vs Toyota Bed Extender?

Are these the same? Ilike the fact that AMP is made in USA, does anyone have an opinion on this product? Thanks!

 

It's the exact same product. I dunno if Amp makes it for Toyota, or if they both use some other OEM, but they are identical.

 

I have a short bed dble cab sport and want to get one. Had one for my last truck (NISMO double cab short bed and found it very useful (with a heavy platsic draped over it) for getting mulch/topsoil. Used to fit 2 yrds with careful dump and some spreading/tamping in Frontier. Handy.

 

Toyota seems to list products from all over in their catalog. I bought a Ready Ramp, and saw it in their catalog the next year.

 

Yes amp research makes bed extender for toyota. The difference between the two is one is grey and amp is black. The grey oem has toyota sticker on it.
