    New truck....so nothing yet
I order a set of TRD front brake pads from Champion Toyota for $51.00!!! I thought, "WOW", what a deal. 2 days later I get a call, that it was a price error, they were $87. So, I choked it down and ordered them. 2 weeks later........they arrived...............and they SENT REAR PADS!!!!!! Geez, is everyone incompetent??? No wonder the auto industry is going under.

Stores are required to honor the advertised price, even if it's wrong..... but sometimes it's more of a fight than it's worth.

That's not necessarily true. Most companies will honor the price of a pricing mistake but advertising is strictly an invitation to negotiate. They can recall the published price at any time.

Contracts - Invitation to Negotiate. Generally, a "for sale" advertisement in a newspaper is merely an invitation to negotiate and is not an offer which can be accepted by a reader of the paper, even though the seller in fact has only one of the particular item advetised. However, a newspaper advertisement may be construed to be an offer if the advertisement states that specific items will be sold at a clearance sale at the prices listed and adds the words "first come, first served."
Contracts - Invitation to Negotiate. Common law holds that ordinarily a seller sending out circulars or catalogs listing prices is not regarded as making an offer to sell at those prices, but is merely indicating a willingness to consider an offer made by a buyer on those terms. Sellers will, as a matter of goodwill, make every effort to deliver the merchandise at advertised prices. And, state statutes prohibiting false or misleading advertising may require adherence to advertised prices.

Are the TRD front brake pads any good? This is the first i've heard of them, being a newbie to Toyotas.
