    Not technology challenged, a friend wants to know.... He knows how to upload a photo to a post using Flickr, but what about animated?

    - Are animated GIFs different from still photos or do they work the same
    - Do you make your own or download them from the web
    - Is there a popular site(s) that most people get them from
    - Once downloaded, how to do you post them to a thread
    - Externally hosted on a site like Flickr or upload direct (he uses Flickr for photos presently)

    For example, post #6 of this topic with "The Dude" is hilarious. Help me help a friend pls.
